Lorraine (Weidinger) MacDonald
Lorraine (Weidinger) MacDonald was born on April 23, 1915. Lorraine was one of the first women in graphic design and illustration working in the California Berkeley area in the 1930's. Her precise technique with pen and ink and design abilities enabled her to create commercial art for Van De Kamps, Colliers, J.F Hinks and Sons Stores, House Beautiful Home and Field, A.G. Spalding Bros. Sporting Goods and many others.
Lorraine passed away on December 21, 1999 survived by her son Jim MacDonald and his family.
